Before I take everything apart, I figured it'd be a good idea to take pictures of everything so I don't forget where things go when putting it back together.
Battery tray is rusted through, but underneath is still very solid.
Having a few minutes left and not wanting to start something new, I cleaned up the engine bay a bit.  Looks pretty decent.
Driver's rear quarter detail.  It's in pretty good shape with the exception of the rust right around the wheel well lip.
The bottom of the quarter just has surface rust from the paint being worn off by gravel roads.
Frame rail is in very good shape, with only surface rust.  If you look closely, you can see the original exhaust resonator.  Yes, it still has the square exhaust tips.
Detail of rear frame rail.  The car was originally undercoated and a lot of it is still under the car.
The right quarter is in the same shape as the other side.  Surface rust only on the lower section, with the wheel well lip rusting through.  Definitely savable.
Left trunk extension is in reasonable shape.
Left front of trunk, including inner wheel well, is in great shape.
Right front of trunk and inner wheel well is in equally good shape.
The right trunk extension will need to be replaced.   It's pretty thin in the grooves where it connects to the trunk pan.
The remnants of Simpson's Mid-State Motors, Inc. decal is still on the trunk panel beside the license plate.
